Overview

Job Vacancy: INT Adults Social Worker (Contract - 2 Weeks). Are you an experienced INT Adults Social Worker looking for a short-term contract opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated INT Adults Social Worker to join our team on a 2-week contract. This role offers an excellent chance to contribute your skills within a dynamic environment, supporting adults through assessment and safeguarding processes. Responsibilities

• Complete Care Act assessments and reviews within an integrated neighbourhood team setting.
• Conduct Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA) and manage Safeguarding investigations effectively.
• Work in an integrated team environment, collaborating with colleagues and external agencies.
• Ensure all assessments and reviews are thorough, accurate, and in line with statutory guidelines.
• Manage cases involving Continuing Health Care (CHC) assessments and processes.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation with a focus on safeguarding and assessment standards.
• Work 2 to 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility for remote work based on case requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Social Worker in adult social care.
• Strong background in safeguarding, Care Act assessments, and reviews.
• Experience conducting Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA) and handling CHC cases.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in a similar setting.
• Good understanding of integrated team working environments.
• Valid registration with Social Work England or relevant governing body.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and juggle multiple priorities.
