THE ROLE:
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance Disputes Solicitor to join a highly respected and growing insurance team in London. Working with insurers and reinsurers across the London market, you will advise on a diverse portfolio of complex coverage and liability defence matters, including high-value, cross-border disputes with an international element.
The role offers exposure to policy interpretation, coverage disputes, professional indemnity claims, subrogated recoveries and wider dispute resolution strategy across a variety of insurance lines, including financial risks, cyber and technology, property damage, reinsurance, fraud, and specialty risks. This is a senior appointment offering genuine autonomy, excellent client exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a successful practice.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 8 years' PQE and a strong background in insurance disputes, ideally gained within a recognised insurance practice. You will have extensive experience advising on complex coverage and liability matters, together with a sound understanding of the London insurance market. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding technical ability, commercial awareness, and the confidence to manage high-value matters with minimal supervision. Previous experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives will be highly advantageous, alongside excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
THE FIRM:
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded national law firm with an excellent reputation within the insurance sector. Renowned for its collaborative culture and commitment to professional development, the firm offers exposure to high-quality work, long-term career progression, and the chance to play a key role within a growing, market-leading insurance disputes practice.
THE PACKAGE:
A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are on offer, together with flexible hybrid working, excellent career progression opportunities, and the chance to work alongside recognised leaders in the insurance disputes market.
