Insurance Broking Accounts Technician

• Good understanding of insurance principles and/or experience within London Market insurance
• Previous experience in credit control, accounts payable or accounts receivable
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when managing data and reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence using relevant systems
• Ability to follow documented processes and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

• Previous experience within the insurance sector or another professional environment
• Experience within Insurance Broking Accounting (IBA)
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
• Interest in finance, credit control or insurance administration
• Exposure to London Market finance schemes or legacy credit work

• Preparing and reviewing standard document templates for internal and external use
• Entering, updating and submitting data accurately within systems
• Creating and maintaining paper and electronic records
• Reviewing departmental reports and taking appropriate action
• Reconciling accounts, unallocated cash and partner statements
• Preparing and processing statements, allocations and payments
• Ensuring compliance with settlement deadlines and internal procedures
• Supporting the IBA team in delivering accurate and timely financial transactions
