Insurance Analyst

Insurance Analyst - Liverpool - (3 days a week in the office)Key words: Excel, Product Analyst, Financial, Liverpool, SQL, Data Visualisation, InsuranceThis highly successful and growing organisation, based in Liverpool, are looking to add an experienced Insurance Analyst with solid skills in Excel to their IT team. The successful Product Analyst will be part of a dynamic IT team with the ability to work on high impact project roles. Ideally you will have 1-2 years' commercial experience in a similar Analyst role. This is a hybrid working role and requires experience working in the Insurance sector.Core Skills for this Insurance Analyst role:

• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Experience working in the Insurance sector
• Experience handling data to use them to form business recommendations
• Experience working with SQL
• Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualisation tool
• Working closely with and providing info to the MI and other teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• To provide technical expertise to other teams with the organisation

Interpersonal skills

• Well organised, self-motivated, and able to successfully work under tight project deadlines.
• Good communication skills - both written and verbal (to elicit clear requirements and communicate solutions)
• Able to work well as part of a team, but also to be self-motivated when working alone
