An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Instrumentation Engineer, within the Manufacturing Services Dept in Barnoldswick.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing:

As a member of the Instrumentation team your key accountabilities, whilst not exhaustive will include:

• Maintenance / repair of vacuum furnaces / hot creep form press controllers.
• The interpretation of OEM drawings to diagnose and solve problems.
• Knowledge of control systems associated with vacuum furnaces and heat treatment ovens.
• AMS2750E heat treatment spec to NADCAP standards.
• Calibration requirements of all control instrumentation, pressure gauges, direct indicating gauges, transducers and vacuum.
• Documentation control - gauge insite.
• Understanding of Eurotherm Instruments.
• Work within a small multi-disciplined team.
• The flexibility to undertake other tasks / activities when required.
• A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• An awareness of HS & E requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

• You must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship or possess relevant engineering skills.
• Minimum qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Computer literate.
• You should be a pro-active individual that is capable of managing time / resource effectively.
