An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Instrumentation Engineer, within the Manufacturing Services Dept in Barnoldswick.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. What you will be doing:
As a member of the Instrumentation team your key accountabilities, whilst not exhaustive will include:
- Maintenance / repair of vacuum furnaces / hot creep form press controllers.
- The interpretation of OEM drawings to diagnose and solve problems.
- Knowledge of control systems associated with vacuum furnaces and heat treatment ovens.
- AMS2750E heat treatment spec to NADCAP standards.
- Calibration requirements of all control instrumentation, pressure gauges, direct indicating gauges, transducers and vacuum.
- Documentation control - gauge insite.
- Understanding of Eurotherm Instruments.
- Work within a small multi-disciplined team.
- The flexibility to undertake other tasks / activities when required.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- An awareness of HS & E requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- You must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship or possess relevant engineering skills.
- Minimum qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- Computer literate.
- You should be a pro-active individual that is capable of managing time / resource effectively.
Please attach a copy of your certificate as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with/next to your CV.
