Installations Operative

Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Role & Responsibilities

• Picking orders and wrapping equipment for safe delivery.
• Driving the company van for customer deliveries or collections, ensuring a professional service to uphold the company's reputation.
• Effectively planning routes to maximize the efficient delivery of customers' orders.
• Conducting client 'site surveys' to ensure safe delivery and collection of equipment.
• Installing certain equipment at client sites (training will be provided).
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse; disposing of waste packaging safely and in line with health and safety guidance.

Experience & Skillset

• Proven experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Full clean UK driver's licence.
• Experience setting up, repairing, or working with electronics (desirable but not essential).
• Team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and prioritising customer care.
• Ability to work to deadlines and use initiative.
• Adherence to correct health and safety measures, especially manual handling of heavy loads.
