Job Description
As a member of the Innovation team, the Innovative Solutions Manager will collaborate with legal operations teams, clients, and practice groups to deliver creative solutions to business problems and promote productivity, best practices, innovation, and client service.
While this is the first innovation role within the London office, there is support from Innovation roles across our US and European offices.
Responsibilities:- Provides project management and process improvement services to internal stakeholders.
- Works with internal and external clients to document requirements and challenges, developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Supports team and firm-wide initiatives and special projects focused on legal technology roll-out, change management, emerging technology assessment (e.g., GenAI), and other process improvements.
- Performs project management for innovation projects, including requirements gathering, communication with attorneys and clients, managing development timelines, and project roll-out.
- Partners with other members of the Innovation and IT team to identify, evaluate, and implement emerging legal technologies.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for legal technology solutions, providing ongoing support to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Monitors ongoing legal industry practices related to innovation, including trends, emerging technology, and implementation challenges.
- Researches and evaluates tools and procedures that promote productivity, efficiency, and quality in legal work and services.
- Leverages Greenberg Traurig tools and third-party software to develop new solutions.
- Promotes visibility of departmental activities and solutions via firm presentations and client meetings.
- Interest and understanding of emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, predictive coding) and their application in legal contexts.
- Ability to translate ideas into product solutions.
