Innovation Delivery Manager - Digital & Fintech Initiatives (Contract)

We are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services sector to appoint an Innovation Delivery Manager to support the delivery of digital innovation initiatives and fintech partnerships.

This role will focus on turning innovation concepts into real, deliverable outcomes, leading the delivery of prototypes, pilots and scalable solutions across digital ventures and emerging technology initiatives.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design and business stakeholders to drive the end-to-end delivery of innovation projects in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation Project Delivery

• Lead the delivery of digital innovation initiatives from discovery and concept through to production readiness
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets and delivery milestones
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement
• Ensure clear acceptance criteria and robust testing processes are in place

Concept Validation & Innovation Enablement

• Support the scoping and development of new digital ventures, fintech collaborations and innovation initiatives
• Facilitate workshops, design sprints and user testing to rapidly validate new concepts
• Work with product, UX and engineering teams to deliver prototypes and MVPs

Pilot Delivery & Scaling

• Lead the delivery and monitoring of pilot programmes
• Analyse performance data and stakeholder feedback to assess outcomes
• Produce recommendations on scaling successful solutions or refining concepts
• Support the transition of successful pilots into business-as-usual operations

Governance & Risk

• Maintain delivery governance including risk registers, issue logs and decision records
• Ensure innovation initiatives align with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Identify potential operational and delivery risks early and manage mitigation strategies

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• 3+ years' experience delivering digital, product or innovation projects
• Experience working within financial services or another regulated environment
• Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven track record delivering prototypes, MVPs or pilot programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, technology partners or fintech organisations
• Strong commercial awareness including budget and delivery oversight

Desirable

• Agile or project management certifications (Scrum / PRINCE2 or similar)
• Experience with design thinking, Lean Startup or experimentation frameworks
• Technical awareness across APIs, cloud platforms or digital architectures
• Experience working within innovation teams, venture initiatives or startup environments
