What you'll do

• Design and maintain cloud-native AI services on AWS that connect language models with our agents' tools, ensuring performance, scalability and reliability.
• Orchestrate agent + RAG workflows with LangChain-and/or related frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI-while enforcing traceability, guardrails and quality metrics.
• Expose REST APIs and an internal SDK in Node/TypeScript; partner with the Front-end team to deliver a smooth conversational UX.
• Measure and optimise latency, cost and quality using CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry and automated tests.
• Safeguard sensitive data and stay GDPR-compliant
• Influence product decisions, review PRs and mentor colleagues when needed.

Must-have requirements

• Solid experience in Python or TypeScript/Node (testing, CI/CD, best practices).
• Production projects that rely on LLM APIs or advanced chatbots.
• Hands-on use of agent/RAG orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen ).
• Working knowledge of vector stores (e.g. pgvector, Pinecone, OpenSearch, Weaviate ).
• Professional English and a product mindset focused on launching, measuring and iterating.

Nice to have

• Fine-tuning or RLHF/DPO on open-source models.
• Advanced observability skills and cost optimisation.
• Open-source contributions or conference talks on LLMs/agents.
• Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams.
• Nest.js, typeORM, next.js SQL
• Proficiency with AWS
