Infrastructure Tester

Salary: £117,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements

• Active UK DV Clearance.
• Strong hands on infrastructure testing experience within secure environments.
• Experience testing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience testing network infrastructure, authentication services and security controls.
• Familiarity with virtualised and cloud based environments.
• Strong defect management and test reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute infrastructure test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Validate Zero Trust architecture components and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform end to end testing across servers, networks, security controls and integrations.
• Verify deployments, configurations and environment readiness.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Support system integration, functional, non functional and operational testing activities.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams.
• Produce clear test evidence, reports and assurance documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Tester to join a major secure government programme based onsite in Basingstoke, Hampshire, for an 18 month contract. This is a hands on role focused on validating and assuring complex Zero Trust infrastructure environments supporting mission critical services. The position is outside IR35 with a daily rate of £450 to £550.
