Infrastructure Team Leader - 1 month Contract - £350/day via umbrella company - onsite London - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Team Leader with strong Azure and Entra expertise to lead cloud operations and drive service improvements. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient infrastructure. You'll guide a skilled team, optimize performance, and champion automation across our Azure environment.

Your responsibilities as an Infrastructure Team Leader:

• Lead and manage the infrastructure team responsible for Azure, Azure AD, and Entra platform operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Oversee administration of Azure AD, including user provisioning, access control, group policy management, and identity governance.
• Champion troubleshooting and resolution of complex Azure and Entra issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure all operations align with NHS security and compliance standards, implementing best practices for identity protection and cloud governance.
• Drive service improvements through automation, process optimization, and adoption of cloud best practices.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities for team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Monitor and report on operational metrics, capacity planning, and risk management to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with other IT and business units to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.

As a suitable Infrastructure Team Leader, you will have:

• Proven hands-on experience managing Azure and Entra environments with deep expertise in Azure AD administration.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in a technical support or infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical projects and initiatives that enhance cloud infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
