Infrastructure & Security Manager - Law Firm

Job Responsibilities

• To lead the Infrastructure team, ensuring the firm's IT environment is resilient, secure, and strategically positioned for transformation.
• The role includes establishing an Infrastructure Development Lifecycle (IDLC), maintaining ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance, developing and managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and creating a technology roadmap to transition from traditional on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
• Define architecture standards, policies, and automation practices that improve scalability and reliability.
• Monitor and manage security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance audits.
• Lead disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data protection and operational continuity
• Oversee all aspects of the firm's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of services. This includes managing Servers (physical and virtual), networks, storage, and cloud resources that support critical IP applications.
• Developing and enforcing security policies (access controls, encryption, acceptable use), conducting regular risk assessments and security audits, and ensuring compliance with standards
• Plan and execute the evolution of the firm's infrastructure in alignment with business needs and technology trends.
• Lead the Infrastructure team, promoting professional development, operational excellence, and service quality.

Skills Required

• Previous experience managing an Infrastructure & Security within a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, M365, VMWare, PowerShell, ManageEngine, Networking (LAN/WAN/VPN's) and Backup/Recovery solutions.
• Experienced in IT security frameworks, Firewall management, vulnerability management and SIEM solutions.
• Experienced in IT transformation, cloud migration, and risk-based project delivery.

This role offers hybrid working - 2 days WFH weekly.
