Information Governance Officer

• Band 5 Maternity Cover until 30.04.27 Location: Estuary Point, Broughton / Parkway / Middlebrook - Organisation: North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) - Are you passionate about data protection, confidentiality, and making a meaningful impact ensuring staff/patients information is processed safely and securely in accordance with data protection.

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Information Governance Officer to join the information governance team.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and improve the Trust's compliance with key legislation, including UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, Caldicott Principles, and the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
• Work closely with the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer to deliver the Trust's IG agenda, supporting staff at all levels and contributing to continuous improvement of IG standards and processes.
• Support the individual rights team in processing Subject Access Requests.
