Industry Skills Curriculum Lead (Centres of Excellence)

University Centre Somerset College Group are looking for an outstanding individual to join our engineering and automotive department. You will need to be a motivated, enthusiastic, professional and proactive individual who can provide expertise to further enhance our teaching, learning, assessment and curriculum development.

Educational sector experience would be an advantage in this role. The purpose of this new role is to guide the industry trained specialist trainer assessors and co-ordinate the quality aspects of their delivery alongside the department of industry training and Deputy Head of Department.

The successful candidate will be based at Bridgwater College. This campus is home to the Welding Centre of Excellence, Advanced Engineering Centre along with the Energy Skills centre which focuses on the development of engineering skills and provides an exceptional learning experience through both practical and knowledge-based study. Some travel to other colleges within UCSCG may occur in this role.
