Location:Sheffield, UK (with UK-wide travel)

Job Type:Full-Time Permanent

Salary:DOE - Starting salary £25,000-£28,000+ Overtime + Allowances

About the Role

You'llbe responsible formaintaining,diagnosingand repairing a wide range of equipment across both field and workshop environments. This is a customer-facing role, requiringstrong communicationskills and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new products and applications.

Reporting to the Operations Manager,you'llbring problem-solving ability, diligence, and a safety-first approach, taking ownership of issues through to successful resolution. The role involves outdoor work, UK-wide travel, and regular overnight stays - ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on engineering in varied environments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose (including fault finding)and repair a wide range of equipment in both field and workshop environments.

  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and complete regular checks.
  • Complete paperwork and digital reports accurately and on time.
  • Represent Cura Terrae Water professionally on client sites and during fieldwork.
  • Ensure the safe use of tools and equipment in line with company policies.
  • Work flexibly to adapt to changing work schedules and travel demands.
WhatWe'reLooking For
  • Previousexperience in the water industry, with hands-on knowledge of instrumentation,maintenanceand repair.
  • Experience of maintenance, calibration, faultfindingand repairs onvarious typesof instrumentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through totimelyresolution.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software systems.
  • Practical experience using tools to assemble and repair equipment.
  • Strong appreciation of health and safety requirements.
  • Willingness to work away from home and adapt to changing schedules.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
