Location: Wolverhampton (WV1)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am starts
Contract: Temp to Perm

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Industrial cleaner on behalf of our client based in Wolverhampton (WV1).

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy industrial manufacturing environment, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shopfloor and production areas.
  
  
• Clean machinery, production equipment, conveyors, and surrounding workspaces.
  
  
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish factory and warehouse floors.
  
  
• Clean welfare facilities including offices, kitchens, changing rooms, and toilets.
  
  
• Remove waste, recycling materials, and industrial rubbish in line with company procedures.
  
  
• Respond promptly and safely to spillages, leaks, and other potential hazards.
  
  
• Support production teams with cleaning duties and coolant management where required.
  
  
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any stock replenishment requirements.
  
  
• Ensure external areas, entrances, and visitor walkways remain clean and presentable.
  
  
• Follow cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures at all times.
  
  

About You

• Previous cleaning experience within an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environment is desirable.
  
  
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  
  
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas when required.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
