An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Individual Giving Manager to join a long established and modern charity in a hybrid working role at their Buckinghamshire / M40 corridor UK HQ. This is an ideal role for an Individual Giving Fundraiser with broad experience of IG fundraising, working closely with the head of department to manage, develop and grow the IG income stream (emphasis on retention and growth). The position is hybrid with a minimum of 1 day in the office each week (High Wycombe / M40 corridor) as well as remote-based work. You would be part of a key team responsible for growing a sustainable income by keeping individual supporters inspired, informed and engaged so they give again, stay longer, and deepen their support. The role includes delivering excellent supporter journey experience and project managing engaging and compelling direct and digital individual giving activity (including - but not limited to - appeals, regular giving conversion & upgrade, lapsed reactivation) and incorporating legacies marketing.
The wider Fundraising team has responsibility for raising a target of more than £1m voluntary income each year. You will work alongside other fundraising and communications colleagues providing support as required.
Responsibilities• Deliver and manage donor-centric direct and digital individual giving activities (appeals, regular giving conversion and upgrades, lapsed reactivation) with an emphasis on retention, growth and legacies marketing.
• Project manage engaging campaigns and ensure a strong donor journey; work collaboratively with the fundraising and communications teams to grow income.
• Drive CRM-led retention, journey design and automation; monitor performance and iterate based on data insights.
• Maintain high standards of supporter care, GDPR/PECR compliance, and best practice within the UK charity sector metrics and fundraising codes of practice.
• Manage mid-value supporters and legacy pipelines; experience with payment recovery tools and card update flows.
• Work towards and contribute to the overall fundraising targets and ensure timely reporting and analysis through dashboards and segmentation.
Qualifications- Educated to degree standard or equivalent (e.g., practical experience within fundraising).
- Member of Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
- Proven individual giving or CRM-led retention experience in a charity, membership or subscription context.
- Hands-on journey design and automation.
- Strong data literacy: segmentation, dashboards (CRM/Excel), test and learn.
- Excellent written communication-able to brief compelling, impactful content and clear supporter updates.
- Practical project management; calm under pressure; collaborative and solutions-focused.
- Working knowledge of GDPR/PECR and best practice supporter care.
- Experience stewarding mid-value supporters and legacy pipelines.
- Experience with payment recovery tools and card update flows.
- Familiarity with UK charity sector metrics and fundraising codes of practice.
You will be able to demonstrate a "Donor First" mindset, solid experience in Individual Giving fundraising, strong communication and relationship management skills, and excellent organisation in managing multiple priorities. You should be collaborative, proactive and take initiative with a practical "can-do!" approach. The charity works from a Christian values perspective of integrity, trust and respect; you do not need to be a practising Christian, but should be sympathetic to the charity's mission.
