Indirect Procurement Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Indirect Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation undergoing a significant procurement transformation. This contract role offers the chance to work on a dynamic portfolio of projects, providing strategic sourcing, negotiation, and stakeholder management expertise in a fast-paced environment. Our client, a global organisation, is seeking a proactive and experienced procurement professional who can make an immediate impact in supporting their indirect procurement activities and transformation initiatives, working closely with offshore teams.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead indirect procurement activities, manage sourcing projects, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee contract management to ensure optimal value and compliance
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to align procurement strategies with business needs
• Support procurement transformation initiatives, working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with offshore procurement support teams to enhance process efficiencies
• As the Senior Indirect Procurement Manager, you will support the Procurement Director by ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and deliver cost-saving solutions

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement)
• Proven indirect procurement experience with strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience working in complex environments such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Manufacturing
