Independent Tax Specialist - GAAR Advisory Panel

HM Revenue & Customs is seeking two experienced tax professionals to join the independent General Anti-Abuse Rule Advisory Panel. The role involves providing independent scrutiny of referred GAAR and Enablers cases, and contributing to the Panel's collective work on GAAR guidance.

Panel members will test arguments, examine complex arrangements, and participate in sub-panels to deliver well-reasoned opinions, with meetings often conducted virtually and occasional in-person sessions.
