Incident Manager - Contract Role

Dublin (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

6-months rolling long term contract

Stelfox is seeking an experienced, hands-on Incident Manager to join a fast-paced technology environment. This is an individual contributor role suited to someone who is comfortable taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating technical teams and driving services through to recovery.

Financial Services experience would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major incident triage and recovery activities.
• Manage incident bridges and coordinate technical teams.
• Drive incidents through to rapid service restoration.
• Provide clear, timely stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate teams across IT, operations and business functions.
• Support root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Identify improvements to incident management processes.
• Support Change Air Traffic Control activities as required.
• Work effectively in a high-pressure, regulated environment.
• Contribute to cross-functional change initiatives.

Experience Required

• Strong hands-on experience as an Incident Manager / Major Incident Manager within a complex technology environment.
• Proven experience leading critical production incidents and technical bridge calls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and incident communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure production environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams during service restoration.
• Exposure to Change Management and Financial Services experience is highly desirable.
