What will you help us create?

As an Electrical Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for product electrical design and development. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment and want to invent the future. In this role, you will work on system design, prototypes, manufacturing processes, testing, and quality control. You will also define processes and methods to improve team productivity, and investigate production technologies, prototypes, and test solutions for product features. Your goal is to design and validate products that deliver an exceptional user experience.

You will collaborate with an EE team to create innovative experiences and ensure the product is functional and aesthetically pleasing. To succeed, you need to be highly motivated, problem-solver, and capable of deep diving into issues while maintaining high standards.

You should demonstrate strong knowledge of product electrical systems, expertise in systems integration, and a willingness to learn from new challenges. Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and hands-on passion are essential. You must be able to incorporate feedback and adapt to changing environments.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing engineering requirement specifications.
2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams for electrical design.
3. Supporting positive team interactions to meet program objectives.
4. Providing cross-functional program integration support.
5. Leading contract manufacturers to deliver quality throughout the product development cycle.
6. Working with manufacturing partners during design-for-manufacturing and verification stages to transition from prototype to production.
7. Applying technical expertise to solve problems throughout the product lifecycle.
8. Traveling internationally and domestically as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• MSEE with at least 2+ years or BSEE with at least 5+ years in electrical engineering.
• Experience leading and working with contract manufacturers across all product stages.
• Hands-on experience in circuit design, system bring-up, integration, and debugging.
• Familiarity with schematic entry, layout tools, and design for manufacturability (experience with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro is a plus).
• Knowledge of processor architecture, digital circuits, and communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, etc.).
• Understanding of physical failure analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including DFM and DFT for consumer products.
• Proficiency in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Ethernet communication interfaces.
• Understanding of high-speed design and noise suppression techniques.
• Knowledge of solar battery charging systems.
• Experience with signal integrity tools.
• Experience designing wireless products (GSM, LTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth).
• Strong communication, documentation skills, and ability to operate autonomously.
