The RoleWe are seeking an In-House Lawyer to support Healix's global operations by providing commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice across a wide range of business functions.
As the In-House Lawyer, you will be working closely with colleagues across Sales, Procurement, Operations and senior leadership, you will manage legal risk, negotiate complex commercial agreements and help the business achieve its strategic objectives in a fast paced, international environment.

About YouYou will be a qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate and solid post qualification experience gained in a commercial, international environment.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in an in house commercial legal role, ideally within a global business.
Strong technical capability and confidence drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts independently.
Experience advising on professional services, government or central contracts in an international context.
A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Confidence taking ownership of a varied workload and seeing matters through to completion.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

In this role, you will:

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
Client contracts
NDAs
Implementation, services and maintenance agreements
Strategic partnership agreements
Medical, security and assistance provider agreements
Take ownership of commercial legal matters, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and mitigated effectively.
Advise internal stakeholders on matters of corporate and company law, as required.
Support Sales teams with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), providing timely legal input on contract terms, compliance and risk.
Partner with commercial and procurement teams to recommend processes, timelines and strategies for critical negotiations.
Provide advice on intellectual property, confidentiality, indemnities, warranties, limitation of liability and insurance considerations.
Act as the primary point of contact for external law firms and legal advisors.
Contribute to major business projects and strategic initiatives.
Deliver internal legal training, helping to raise legal awareness across the organisation.
Support existing and future partnering opportunities as Healix expands into new and emerging markets.

Required Criteria- Law degree and 2 years' post-qualification experience in commercial contracts
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Insurance / Financial Services experience
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- Experience in IP issues and dealing with IP infringements
