In-House Company Solicitor(s)

We are currently seeking Senior In-House Solicitor(s) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a mainly a remote position, but occasional travel may be required to meet with the wider team and/or counterparts. The role is pivotal in ensuring legal, regulatory, and commercial robustness across our operations, particularly in relation to corporate governance, introducer relationships, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements both in terms of commercial lending and bespoke investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across the business, particularly in relation to investment documentation, introducer agreements, and regulatory obligations
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with third parties, borrowers and service providers
• Support the board with legal input around governance, company structure, and shareholder matters
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes, advising the business on potential impact and ensuring continued compliance (including FSMA/ FCA-related activity)
• Liaise with external solicitors and counsel in the UK along with non-domestic attorneys for cross border and international transactions along with any regulators as may be required
• Support in managing legal risk across the firm, providing pragmatic and commercial advice

Requirements

• UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years' PQE, with general experience in financial services and investment, and specific experience in 'sophisticated and high net worth' investment documents, commercial finance agreements and security taking drafting and implementation
• In-depth understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (e.g. FSMA, FCA)
• Proven experience drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements and documents
• Comfortable working independently and remotely, with a high level of professional judgement
• Experience in advising senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic decisions
