Immediate Start Accounts Payable Clerk

My client is an expanding Manufacturing business based in Stafford and they are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on initially a temporary basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for matching, batching, and coding invoices, dealing with supplier queries, performing supplier statement reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of the weekly payment run. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fun and friendly team with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

Skills required:

• At least 6 month's experience in a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable position
• Excellent people skills with the ability to build good relationships with suppliers
• A strong attention to detail and being able to work at speed and to deadlines whilst maintaining an excellent level of accuracy
• Be a confident user of MS Excel
