Job Description

An established and growing independent financial planning and employee benefits firm is looking for an experienced Wealth Management Administrator to join its team. Part of a larger European wealth and benefits group, the business offers full independent advice to companies and individuals, pairing the resources of a bigger organisation with the feel of a small, close-knit team.

The role

Reporting to the Line Manager, you will provide proactive, efficient support to the wealth management consultants and deliver excellent service to clients across all products and services. This is a full cradle to grave administration role, so you will handle new business through to ongoing servicing, keeping client records accurate and fully compliant throughout.

Day to day you will:

  • Process all aspects of new business administration
  • Action Letters of Authority and produce annual review packs
  • Liaise with product providers to keep requests moving in a timely manner
  • Issue and chase fees and commissions, and keep fee details up to date
  • Maintain back office records accurately (the firm uses Plannr) and use system tasks so nothing is overlooked
  • Support consultants across client servicing, communication and administration
  • Provide cover for colleagues during holidays, sickness or busy periods
  • Keep files fully compliant and take on specific projects as the business needs

About you

  • At least 5 years' experience in wealth management administration
  • Strong technical knowledge across wealth management products and processes
  • Confident working independently and without micromanagement, while still being a team player
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Competent across Microsoft Office, ideally with advanced Excel skills
  • Clean driving licence and preferably your own car
  • Able to meet FCA Fit and Proper requirements: financially solvent, no adverse credit or criminal record, and able to provide good references

The package

  • Competitive salary DOE
  • Hybrid working, generally one or two days a week in the office, with full time office working available if preferred
