Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IAM IT Specialist with 4+ years of experience to support and manage Identity and Access Management systems across our enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IAM platforms, user provisioning, RBAC, and access governance, ensuring that the right individuals have appropriate access to technology resources while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of IAM systems including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modifications.
Implement and maintain IAM solutions such as Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, or similar platforms.
Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies across systems and applications.
Conduct periodic access reviews and certifications in compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
Work with HR, IT, and business teams to automate identity lifecycle processes.
Monitor IAM-related security events and assist in incident response and remediation.
Participate in IAM-related projects including system integrations and migrations.
Maintain detailed documentation of IAM processes, workflows, and architecture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in IAM roles.
Strong understanding of IAM principles, access governance, and identity lifecycle management.
Experience with IAM tools such as Azure Active Directory, SailPoint, Okta, Ping, or CyberArk.
Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and Kerberos.
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
