Job Description & Summary

To really stand out and make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world, each and every one of us at PwC needs to be a purpose-led and values-driven leader at every level. To help us achieve this we have the PwC Professional; our global leadership development framework. It gives us a single set of expectations across our lines, geographies and career paths, and provides transparency on the skills we need as individuals to be successful and progress in our careers, now and in the future.
As a Director for Identity and Access Management (IAM), you'll lead a team of problem solvers to address complex security challenges from strategy through execution. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing IAM strategies that ensure secure and efficient access to resources across our clients' organizations. This includes the management and deployment of IAM technologies in large-scale environments, leveraging solutions like CyberArk for privileged access management, Okta for identity management and authentication, and Saviynt for access governance and compliance. The PwC Evolved Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of IAM strategies and solutions for clients across various sectors.
  • Advise clients on IAM best practices, standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Drive business growth by expanding IAM service offerings and building strong client relationships.
  • Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering leadership and talent development.
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the IAM landscape to ensure leading-edge solutions.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of the latest developments in IAM standards, protocols, and regulatory changes.
Your Profile
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions across large and complex environments, with proficiency in leading IAM technologies such as CyberArk, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and professional development.
  • Strong familiarity with IAM strategies, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM), using tools like CyberArk, Okta, and Saviynt for enhanced access control and security.
  • Experience working within IAM frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CSA.
  • Deep knowledge of security principles related to identity management, access control, and authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, Kerberos).
  • Proven experience in integrating IAM practices with broader IT security strategies, ensuring seamless alignment and interoperability.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, including executives and technical teams, translating technical IAM requirements into business outcomes.
  • Experience in managing IAM-related regulatory compliance requirements and best practices, ensuring adherence to standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • One or more certifications related to IAM or cybersecurity is a plus: Certified IAM Professional (CIAM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • 10+ years of full-time dedicated experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on IAM.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred or additional relevant professional experience.

Join our team of dedicated security professionals and make a significant impact on our clients' security posture. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for Identity and Access Management, we encourage you to apply and help shape the future of cybersecurity in the digital age.
