What you'll be doing

• Supporting the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations for major conferences, banquets and events
• Delivering high-volume, high-quality food production with consistency and attention to detail
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of chefs within a fast-paced events kitchen
• Working closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Planning and executing menus designed for large-scale production without compromising quality
• Managing stock, ordering and kitchen controls while maintaining excellent food margins
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety standards
• Driving efficiency and minimising waste in a sustainability-focused environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen or banqueting/events environment
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
• Solid understanding of menu planning, food costing and large-scale production
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• A calm, organised approach under pressure with excellent attention to detail
• Passion for delivering high-quality food in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
