Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are maintained across all areas of the site.
• Liaise closely with the Hygiene Team Leader, work with chemicals, and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
• Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not compulsory; full training will be provided.
• Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals, subject to passing COSHH training.
• IPAF desirable but not essential.
