Hygiene Operative - Days

About the Role:

Do you want to earn a minimum of £13.06 per hour? We're looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team at our Hollybank site in Scropton, Derbyshire.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week

Tuesday - Saturday

06:00 - 15:00

About the role:

As a Hygiene Operative you'll play a key part in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards meet our normally high levels. You'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Key responsibilities:

• Cleaning of all factory equipment and machinery.
• Use of pressure washers and chemicals.
• Removal of debris and discarded products.
• Achieving agreed quality standards.
• Following relevant training and CIC's to ensure safe and efficient cleaning.
• Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Previous experience in a similar hygiene/manufacturing role would be beneficial.
