Salary
  • PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £39,500 to £45,300 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
  • WCA Assessor (5-6 shorter assessments per day): £42,000 to 48,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
  • Up to 10% quality and performance bonus
  • Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA, depending on local availability.

  • Full-time (WCA/PIP)
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm
  • Part-time (PIP Only)
  • 0.6 FTE (3 days)
  • 0.8 FTE (4 days)
  • Can work any day of the week.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
  • Review medical evidence and daily living impact
  • Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Make objective recommendations based on evidence
  • This is an assessment-focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training

12-week paid training covering:

  • Assessment techniques
  • DWP guidelines
  • Report writing
  • You will be fully supported before working independently.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
  • At least 1-year active registration
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Confident IT and typing skills
