HVAC Quality Manager
Bristol (Aztec West) or Manchester (City Centre) Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite)

Balfour Beatty MEH Alliance - Sizewell C

We are recruiting for a HVAC Quality Manager to join the MEH Alliance on the Sizewell C project - playing a key role in ensuring quality excellence across one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.

What you'll be doing

As a Quality Manager you will ensure compliance with MEH Alliance quality requirements across the full project lifecycle - from contract award through to commissioning and close out.

You will act as the key quality focal point for the supply chain, working closely with project teams to ensure delivery meets contractual and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving supply chain adherence to quality assurance and control requirements
  • Managing and conducting supplier audits, resolving findings
  • Reviewing and monitoring quality deliverables and inspection/test plans
  • Supporting resolution of non conformances and corrective actions
  • Overseeing quality release of equipment from supplier premises
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across project and supply chain
  • Leading and developing Quality Engineers within the team
Who we're looking for

We're looking for a quality professional with experience in complex engineering or infrastructure projects, ideally within regulated environments.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience in quality assurance and quality control across major projects
  • Proven ability to perform and manage supplier audits
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19443, IAEA, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of project delivery across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
  • Able to obtain a security clearance

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or degree in Quality Management, engineering or related discipline
