The Role

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager / Account Director to join Hunter Grace, leading PR and influencer partnerships in the beauty and wellness sectors, particularly on the iconic Sol de Janeiro account.

This senior role involves managing media and influencer relations, executing high-impact paid campaigns, and crafting brand stories that enhance reputation, increase awareness, and support business objectives. You will leverage top-tier industry contacts, identify strategic opportunities, and secure meaningful coverage and partnerships across traditional, influencer, and paid media channels.

Daily responsibilities include nurturing client relationships as a trusted advisor, staying ahead of social media trends, and promoting client stories with a creative, 360 approach.

As part of the senior team, you will help shape business strategy, lead with commercial insight, mentor junior team members, and ensure high-quality project delivery. You will be the primary contact for clients on all PR & Communications matters, embodying Hunter Grace's values in all your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Lead and strategize across designated clients, delivering excellent service and results.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute PR and influencer strategies aligned with brand goals and key launches.
  • Paid Influencer Campaigns: Lead strategy and execution for influencer partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values.
  • Media & Influencer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers for ongoing coverage.
  • Business Development: Prepare strategic proposals and create engaging presentations for pitches and approvals.
  • Brand Storytelling: Capitalize on media trends and build conversations across platforms.
  • Event Management: Oversee press and influencer events from concept to delivery, ensuring ROI.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members to enhance performance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Measure activity results and recommend optimizations.
  • Budget Management: Oversee communications budgets, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality creative output and client communications.
  • Brand Partnerships: Identify and secure collaborations to extend reach and enhance brand equity.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in PR, communications, and influencer marketing.
  • Experience with beauty and wellness brands.
  • Strong network within the beauty industry.
  • Proven success in securing top-tier media coverage and influencer partnerships.
  • Excellent storytelling and strategic skills.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
