Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school in Cannock.

Duties and Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching subjects such as History, Geography or Religious Studies.
- Creating an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
- Assessing and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
- Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations where required.
- Maintaining high expectations and positive classroom behaviour.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider success of the department.
- Humanities ECTs or fully qualified Humanities Teachers.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum.
- GCSE teaching experience in History, Geography or Religious Studies is desirable.
- A genuine passion for Humanities and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
