Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Chard seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities team from January 2026. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Secondary Humanities Teacher (Geography Specialist) Chard
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered)
Subject: Geography (within Humanities Department)

The role:
- Teaching Geography across KS3 KS4 (ability to offer another Humanities subject beneficial, but not essential)
- Full-time preferred, but part-time applications are welcome
- Long-term placement with ongoing agency support
Ideal candidate:
- Confident delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons
- Strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire learners
- QTS or similar
- Passionate about shaping students understanding of the world
