Position Summary

As an HR Operations/Payroll Coordinator at DTEK, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of payroll and HR administrative processes for our Netherlands and UK operations. You will support employee lifecycle activities, maintain HR systems, and ensure compliance with Dutch and United Kingdom labour laws and internal policies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Compensation

Manage budgeting and payroll processing in collaboration with external payroll providers.

Ensure accurate salary payments, tax withholdings, and statutory deductions in compliance with Dutch and UK regulations.

Maintain payroll records and support audits and financial reporting.

HR Operations

Manage employee data

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation and exit documentation.

Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries.

Generate HR reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure HR practices comply with Dutch and UK labour laws and GDPR.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Assure UK and Dutch immigration compliance, including relocation process.

Assist with internal audits and regulatory reporting.

Employee Support

Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees in the Amsterdam office.

Support HR initiatives such as performance reviews, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in C&B/HR operations and/or payroll coordination, preferably in an international setting.

Familiarity with Dutch and UK labor law and payroll regulations.

Familiarity with Dutch labor migration procedure

Experience with SAP

Strong organizational and communication skills.

High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.

Fluent in English and Ukrainian; Dutch is an advantage.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in HR or Payroll (e.g., PDL, SHRM-CP, CPP).

Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector.

Knowledge of UK and European labor regulations beyond the Netherlands.
