The Role

The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time hybrid role based in Mullingar, with the flexibility to work from home 1day per week. This position supports day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies, managing employee records, coordinating recruitment activities, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes. The HR Generalist will handle employee pay and benefits queries, support benefits administration, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal guidelines. The role also involves advising managers and team members on HR practices, assisting in performance management processes, and contributing to employee learning & development, reporting, strategic HRM, engagement and wellbeing initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, maintain accurate HR documentation, and continuously improve HR procedures and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage recruitment & onboarding, employee engagement, learning & development, career development, pay and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law & compliance, reporting and strategic HRM.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and employment law responsibilities.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and reliability skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Mullingar, collaborating on-site and remotely as needed.
