Required for a fully remote, part-time (20hrs/week) 18-month contract, a Human Factors Integration Engineer with Aerospace experience. The role begins with conceptual activities in phase one, after which the preliminary design phase will begin.

1. Carry out design activities with the relevant system requirements within the scope of human system integration, requirement engineering activities, preparation of 2D drawings and preparation of technical documents.
2. Liaising with system engineering teams, the flight test team, pilot vehicle interface software development engineering team, simulator software development engineering team and configuration management team.
3. Participate in design change and optimisation studies, support human factors activities, create human system integration design solutions against problems that arise during usability/human error/human reliability/situational awareness/workload tests, and to carry out requirement change activities.
4. To complete the design deliverables on time.
5. Knowledge of the legislation within human factors integration.
