Make a Difference Every DayOur client is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Hub Coordinator to join their Day Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled health and social care professional who is passionate about supporting people with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling lives within their communities.
As Hub Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role within the service, supporting the Day Service Manager in the effective coordination and delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports. You will provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to staff while promoting choice, independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation for the people we support.
What You'll Do- Lead and support staff within the hub on a daily basis.
- Champion person-centred practices and support the development of Person-Centred Plans.
- Promote choice, independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
- Support the planning and delivery of meaningful programmes tailored to individual goals and aspirations.
- Encourage participation in community, social, vocational, and employment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and stakeholders.
- Support staff supervision, development, and training.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation and coordination of the service.
- Contribute to service innovation, quality improvement, and best practice.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and New Directions standards.
- Is passionate about supporting people with intellectual disabilities
- Has a strong person-centred approach
- Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills
- Builds positive and professional relationships with others
- Is organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
- Is committed to continuous improvement and quality services
- Relevant Level 7 qualification in Social Work, Applied Social Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working within the intellectual disability sector.
- Excellent IT and computer literacy skills.
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within health or social care services.
- Train-the-Trainer qualification or equivalent.
