HTA/Market Access Principal Consultant - UK or Germany based

Orphix Consulting GmbH, based in Munich, Germany and providing consultancy to US and EU clients since 2002, was acquired by DLRC in 2020 and expands our footprint into mainland Europe, and adding expert resource.
We are now looking to expand our team in order to support clients with development and implementation of strategy for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Europe and require an individual experienced to join us as a HTA/Market Access Principal Consultant.
This role would be on a permanent basis based from either from the UK or Germany.
The role:
The HTA/Market Access Principal Consultant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects for several clients. This will encompass strategic HTA planning, dossier compilation, pricing and reimbursement submissions.
Responsibilities:
Technical:
Support HTA activities on behalf of the client including supervised liaison and negotiation with EU HTA agencies
Assist with preparation of EU HTA advice requests (e.g. Joint Scientific Consultation, EU national agency interactions)
Support the preparation of the Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) dossier and management of the JCA procedure
Support the preparation of national pricing and reimbursement submissions
Provide input to market access plans to meet project and client goals
Advise and support with TPP preparations
Liaise with DLRC regulatory colleagues to provide seamless strategic and operational client support
Analyse changes in the HTA environment and legislation for impact on project/plans and DLRC overall business
Build a network of external HTA partners.

Identifies opportunities for new and existing client engagements, supports proposal development, and contributes to company growth through strategic insights.
Leadership:
Demonstrates strategic thinking and provides guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of client projects.
Project Management:
Manages multiple complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and alignment with client objectives.
Communication:
Effectively conveys complex technical concepts to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through clear, concise, and tailored messaging.
Required Experience:
Life Science or Pharmacy Degree
Previous experience of HTA advice meetings and applications, German applications (AMNOG) highly advantageous but other EU/UK experience will be considered
Previous experience of preparation of a pricing and reimbursement dossier
Deep understanding of national pricing and reimbursement procedures in the EU region, and the requirements and opportunities under the HTA Regulation (EU) 2021/2282
Ability to identify and build a network of external HTA and pharmacoeconomic partners where necessary in order to fulfil client needs
Good work ethic & strategic mindset
Previous experience leading and mentoring junior team members
Ability to take responsibility for the oversight and completion of tasks within a project
Fluent in spoken and written English. German (or another EU language is a plus)
Proficient user of standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office including Word. Excel, Outlook)
Experience with databases would be an advantage.
