Location: Wiltshire, South West England
Duration: 7 Months, Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

This is a *Wiltshire* Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *providing specialist ER support within a complex and highly regulated environment*
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to provide specialist ER support within a complex and highly regulated environment. This role requires a confident and credible HR practitioner with a strong track record of managing sensitive and high-risk employee relations matters, building effective stakeholder relationships, and providing expert guidance on employment legislation and best practice.
Key Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years' Employee Relations experience, managing complex and sensitive casework from initial investigation through to resolution.
- Proven experience handling high-risk ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, industrial relations issues, and employment tribunal preparation/support.
- Strong experience representing HR in formal hearings, appeals, and consultation processes.
- Demonstrable ability to build and maintain effective relationships with trade unions, legal advisors, senior leaders, managers, and key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application within complex organisational environments.
- Experience interpreting policies, procedures, and legal frameworks to provide clear, pragmatic advice and guidance.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prepare high-quality case documentation, reports, policy guidance, and management briefings.
- Experience delivering coaching, guidance, and training to managers on employee relations processes and responsibilities.
- CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma (or equivalent experience) with evidence of ongoing professional development.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the public sector or other highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to industrial relations matters, trade union engagement, and organisational change programmes.
- Experience working within organisations requiring a high level of integrity, discretion, and eligibility to work on sensitive programmes.
- Sole UK nationality is highly desirable due to the nature of the environment and associated vetting requirements.
