We have an exciting opportunity within our Recruitment Team for a HR Support Officer, working as part of the wider HR Service at Middlesbrough Council.

ResponsibilitiesPlaying a key role in the recruitment process you will create job adverts, support our recruiting managers with the shortlisting and interview process and once an offer is made you will issue the offer letter and contract to the successful applicant. You will also be responsible for ensuring the pre employment checks and other associated tasks are carried out to ensure the onboarding and payroll processes are completed.
Qualifications & Skills- Has experience in recruitment or HR administration
- Can organise and coordinate multiple tasks
- Has excellent interpersonal skills
- Is confident in the use of IT systems and can apply meticulous attention to detail
Interviews are expected to take place on week commencing 27th July 2026.
