Due to an upcoming maternity absence, we are hiring for our client, an award winning construction organisation based in County Tyrone, who are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and growing business, supporting the HR team across recruitment, onboarding, training and development, compliance, employee engagement and HR projects. The successful HR Officer will enjoy a varied generalist role within a collaborative and people focused environment.

- Broad HR Officer role covering recruitment, onboarding, training and HR projects

- Manage recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, liaising with agencies and supporting interviews
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and new starter documentation
- Coordinate onboarding activities and deliver company inductions
- Conduct new starter reviews and provide feedback to management teams
- Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews and reporting
- Monitor training compliance, identify training gaps and coordinate external training requirements
- Support the design and delivery of internal training programmes
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis for senior leadership meetings
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information
- Support HR projects and wider people initiatives across the business
- Third level qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' HR generalist experience
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Full driving licence
