We are delighted to be partnering with a very successful, well-established manufacturing business in County Tipperary to recruit an experienced HR Manager for an 11-12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

This is a hands on HR leadership role within a fast paced food production environment, supporting a large operational workforce and leading the delivery of the HR function across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting leadership teams, managing employee relations, driving HR processes and ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the organisation.

This opportunity would suit an experienced HR Manager who enjoys being close to the operation, managing a broad generalist remit and making a tangible impact within a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the day to day HR function and support the wider business across all aspects of people management.
• Leading and overseeing the HR function, providing guidance and support to the HR team
• Managing employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, investigations and absence management processes
• Partnering with production and support leaders to improve people management capability and performance
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across operational and support roles
• Maintaining and improving HR systems, processes and reporting frameworks
• Ensuring employee records, documentation and HR processes remain compliant with GDPR and employment legislation
• Reviewing and maintaining employment contracts, policies, procedures and employee handbooks
• Supporting workforce engagement, retention and positive workplace culture initiatives
• Ensuring training, compliance and development requirements are delivered across the workforce
• Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business

The Person

• Minimum 4-5 years' experience working at HR Manager level
• Strong employee relations experience within a manufacturing, food production, FMCG or operational environment
• Excellent knowledge and practical application of Irish employment law and HR best practice
• Proven experience managing disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes
• Experience leading or supporting an HR team
• Strong HR systems experience and excellent administrative capability
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast paced environment
