- You inherit a complete strategic brief - not a to-do list - covering career architecture, skills framework and the culture blueprint for how we will grow and scale. You walk in on day one knowing exactly what needs to be done. Your role is to make it real. Most HR professionals spend their careers inheriting a people function that someone else built - and then maintaining it. In this role, you inherit something better. You will receive a comprehensive, co-designed People, Leadership and Culture Strategy, built specifically for their unique operating context - and you can own its delivery entirely from day one.
- You are joining a founding leadership team. You will have a seat at the table from day one and a direct line to the senior leadership team - your decisions will shape this company for years.
- Build and embed a strong people framework that attracts, develops, and retains top talent
- Drive initiatives that support employee engagement, leadership capability, and organisational culture
- Partner with the Plant Director to finalise the proposed workforce reward and progression framework - including how specialisation, breadth of skill and demonstrated capability are recognised and rewarded across the operation.
- Ensure the agreed grade structure is accurately reflected in all job descriptions, offer letters and employment contracts from the outset.
- Build a culture that makes our client the employer of choice in the region - a place where people talk about their work with pride, recommend it to friends and family, and want to grow long-term.
- Champion genuine inclusion at every stage of the employment lifecycle
- Play a key role in the company's B Corp journey and sustainability agenda
- Partner closely with the business to ensure HR strategy is fully aligned with commercial objectives
