HR Manager - Creative Agency

A leading creative agency are looking to hire a Junior HR Manager on a 12-14 month maternity cover contract to start ASAP.

This is an exciting stepping up role for someone with strong generalist HR experience, particularly on the operational side, who is looking to broaden their exposure and take on more responsibility.

You'll be partnering closely with senior leaders and department heads across the agency, acting as a trusted point of contact for people matters. That could mean supporting managers through ER cases (with support from the team where needed), contributing to performance management and talent discussions, or driving the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding.

Payroll experience is key, and you'll also be overseeing broader HR operations including compliance, visas and right to work, and reporting. There's scope too to get involved in the bigger picture, supporting change projects and wider culture, engagement and learning initiatives across the agency.

The ideal candidate will bring confidence handling ER cases, a good working knowledge of UK employment law, and strong stakeholder management skills. Just as important is an eagerness to learn and a self-directed approach to development.

The role is based in the office 4 days per week in Central London, with free breakfast and lunch included.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on HR Manager experience across a broad remit, with exposure that would typically take much longer to build!
