HR Director - 100% Remote

Your Role as People Director :


You will lead the full HR strategy, from talent acquisition to career development, while fostering a strong company culture across a fully remote and international team. You'll build a high-performing, human-centered HR function that supports both our rapid growth and the individual success of each team member.


Key Responsibilities :


1. Talent Acquisition

  • Design and implement scalable, high-impact recruitment strategies
  • Build solid hiring processes (scorecards, ATS, salary benchmarks, etc.)
  • Train and support hiring managers
  • Source, assess, and onboard top talent while tracking key recruitment KPIs


2. People Development & Engagement

  • Design an engaging and smooth remote onboarding experience
  • Build structured performance reviews and feedback loops
  • Launch internal training programs and career growth initiatives
  • Implement fair and value-aligned recognition and retention systems


3. HR Operations & Process Optimization

  • Ensure legal compliance and secure data management
  • Digitalize and automate admin tasks (contracts, payroll via vendors, time off)
  • Optimize operational costs and boost HR efficiency with smart tools
  • Collaborate closely with team leads to deliver tailored HR solutions


4. Culture & Internal Communication

  • Be a strong ambassador of our remote-first, people-first culture
  • Measure and improve team satisfaction through actionable initiatives
  • Foster team bonding and celebrate wins-even across time zones
  • Support respectful, inclusive communication and conflict resolution
  • Design employee benefits aligned with well-being and motivation


Ideal Profile :


  • Freelance/independent with a collaborative and proactive mindset
  • Proven experience in HR generalist or leadership roles (in startups or remote teams is a plus)
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and hands-on ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to drive change, structure processes, and scale a team
  • Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
  • French: Native or C1 minimum
  • English: Professional proficiency (spoken & written)
