A growing local business looking for an organised, proactive, and hands-onTemporary HR & Compliance Administratorto steady the ship. You will take immediate responsibility for the essential day-to-day administration of people, HR processes, and critical compliance requirements. This role is ideal for a skilled contractor or senior administrator who can hit the ground running without hand-holding.

Your primary focus will be keeping our compliance tight and our daily HR administration moving:

• Essential HR:Manage daily holiday and sickness records, handle basic onboarding paperwork for any new starters, and maintain secure, confidential personnel files.
• Training & Competency:Update our central training matrix and monitor upcoming expiry dates for qualifications, certificates, and engineering licences.
• Compliance Monitoring:Track the compliance calendar to ensure critical business deadlines, insurances, and safety accreditations are not missed.
• Health & Safety Admin:Log any workplace accidents or incidents and assist with organizing risk assessments or method statements.
• General Admin Support:Maintain electronic filing systems and pass accurate hours/absence information over to our external payroll provider.

• Immediate Availability:You must be ready to start at short notice.
• Proven Experience:Prior experience in HR, compliance, or senior administration is essential.
• System Savvy:Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to manage matrices and databases.
• Key Traits:You must be highly organised, detail-focused, completely discreet with confidential data, and confident enough to chase managers for missing paperwork.
