An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to step into a HR Business Partner role on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal as a development opportunity for an existing HR professional looking to progress, and we actively welcome applications for acting up or secondment.
You will support one of our Clinical Divisions, working closely with senior leaders to provide expert HR advice that directly supports workforce performance, staff experience, and patient safety.

Main duties of the job- You will support one of our Clinical Divisions
- Provide advice and guidance on complex employee relations cases (performance, conduct, sickness, behaviours)
- Support delivery of workforce plans, service change, and transformation programmes
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management
- Ensure timely management of cases to reduce risk and improve outcomes
- Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to provide a consistent and high-quality service

- Educated to Masters level in relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Chartered Member of the CIPD
- Extensive HR experience of working with senior managers, supporting and resolving complex people issues
- Experience of working collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver aims and objectives through a coaching and consultancy approach, supporting and developing the leadership and management capabilities of senior staff throughout the organisation
- Understanding of the workforce agenda in the health sector
- Strong knowledge of best practice HR business partnering initiatives, stakeholder management and influencing strategies with a proven ability to turn these innovative ideas into working models.
- Strong business acumen to support HR strategy development and delivery
- Strong knowledge of people and HR planning methods and interventions
- Strong understanding of relevant employment legislation and the impact of future legislative changes
- Strong knowledge of relationship management, internal service level agreements and implementation of key performance indicators
- An understanding of coaching methods and approaches to guide senior leaders, particularly within a large change agenda environment
- Team Leadership - Has the ability to create and communicate a clear vision and direction in order to create a motivated team and foster an environment where groups and individuals can achieve high performance
- Customer Focused - Builds and manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and exceeds customer expectations
