Job Description
Our HR team is looking for an HR and Recruitment Assistant for Geneva (Fixed-term 1-year contract). We are searching for bright, organized individuals with a passion for HR, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine desire to be part of a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Head of HR and working as part of a team, the HR and Recruitment Assistant will provide support and assistance throughout the entire employee life cycle, particularly focusing on recruitment processes.Responsibilities will include:HR:- Maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with company procedures and all legal requirements;- Monitoring holiday requests and approvals, working hours, leave, lawyer workload, time recording, overtime, and absences;- Ensuring the HRIS is updated and using it to provide useful reports to the Head of HR and the rest of the HR team, as well as to Payroll;- Assisting with employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting, including insurance matters;- Supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the HR function;- Assisting on ad hoc employee and other HR projects as required.Recruitment:- Providing strong support to ensure an effective, timely, and productive recruitment process, including reviewing interviews and feedback, and assisting with posting approved job adverts;- Assisting with the preparation of contracts, contract amendments, and other formal employment documents;- Providing assistance in onboarding and offboarding procedures - filing and processing documents and forms, data entry and profile management.We look for:- A commercial qualification or equivalent; a Swiss HR Assistant qualification in personnel management would be an advantage;- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French, with business-level German being necessary for the role;- Experience in HR or in a law firm/comparable environment would be an asset;- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and a keen eye for detail;- Proven ability to work in a team as well as autonomously;- Talented, proactive, and eager to learn and develop;- Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of confidentiality;- Confidence with IT; experienced and proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.If you are interested in joining our dynamic team, please submit your documents (CV and cover letter) here.
